Every cashback guide is written for shoppers. Almost nobody writes for the self-employed — and that's where some of the largest bounties in the UK sit. Opening a GoCardless account paid me £85. Airwallex is currently listed at up to £100. My Meta Ads spend earns cashback every month. If you run a business — sole trader, freelancer, limited company — these are sign-ups and bills you may be doing anyway, and the bounties are bigger than anything in retail. Here's what's live, what actually paid, and the £0 tracking trap to understand before you start.

Disclosure: cashback links here are my referral links — free for you (you get a £10 bonus). No relationship with any provider named.
What's live for business sign-ups
| Provider | What it is | Bounty (as seen) | My result |
|---|---|---|---|
| GoCardless | Direct Debit collection for invoices/subscriptions | £85 when I did it (Apr 2026); guides have quoted £30 for account + bank details; currently not listed on TopCashback | £85 claimed |
| Airwallex | Multi-currency business account & cards | up to £100 on TopCashback (guides cite ~£85 for account + first transaction) | Tracked £0.00 so far (see below) |
| Meta Ads | Facebook/Instagram advertising | % of ad spend | £15.31 + £8.11 pending on ~£394 |
| Domains/hosting (e.g. 123 Reg) | Domain registration | small % | £0.04 on £0.84 (yes, really) |
| Business bank accounts | Various challengers list periodically | £20–£100+ windows | Not used yet |
GoCardless: the £85 that paid
I set up GoCardless for taking payments and did it through TopCashback: £85 tracked, confirmed, claimed — for something the business needed regardless. The listing has since rotated off TopCashback (bounties for fintech sign-ups come and go; earlier guides quote a smaller £30 window). If it reappears, or on Quidco, the recipe is identical: click through, create the account, complete the qualifying step (adding bank details / first payment), don't close the account.
Airwallex: the £0 trap — read before you sign up
Airwallex is the big one right now at up to £100, and it's also the one with an 80-comment Reddit thread of people staring at £0.00 lines. My account shows the same: Airwallex, 29 August, £0.00 payable. Here's what's going on:
- The bounty usually requires account opening and a first qualifying transaction (funding the account / making a payment). Until the transaction side is verified, the tracked line sits at £0.
- Some users report the line uplifting to the full bounty weeks later once Airwallex confirms; others have had to raise claims. Either way, keep your order/reference ID from the tracking email.
- Fintech onboarding is slow (KYC/business verification), so don't expect retail-style timelines.
I'll update this page when mine moves. Practical rule: complete the whole qualifying journey inside the same week, keep evidence, and treat the bounty as a bonus, not a reason to open an account you won't use.
Meta Ads: cashback on money you're already spending
If you run Facebook or Instagram ads, TopCashback lists Meta — click through before topping up your ad account and a percentage of the spend tracks. My August spend of roughly £394 tracked £23.42. Small percentages, but on a recurring business cost it's the definition of free money. Check whether prepaid/top-up or invoiced spend qualifies on the listing (mine tracked on card-paid spend).
Other business bills worth clicking through for
- Domains and hosting — tiny percentages (my 123 Reg line is 4p), but zero effort.
- Software subscriptions — accounting, design and productivity tools appear with new-customer bounties; check before renewing anything annual.
- Business insurance and energy — TopCashback Compare covers van insurance (£38) and business-relevant switches.
- Travel and equipment — hotels via cashback (8–12%), electronics by category rate (Currys guide).
The rules that matter more for business sign-ups
- One account per business, genuinely used. Opening accounts purely for bounties breaches providers' terms and gets cashback and accounts closed.
- Complete the qualifying action — first transaction, bank details, ID verification — promptly.
- Same session, business email that hasn't been used with the provider.
- Keep the tracking reference; fintech bounties are the most likely to need a claim.
- Tax note: cashback on business purchases is generally treated as reducing the cost of the expense — mention it to your accountant.
FAQ
Is the Airwallex TopCashback offer legit? Yes — it's a listed "up to £100" bounty — but it commonly tracks at £0.00 until the first-transaction condition is verified, which is what the Reddit thread and my own account show. Keep your reference and allow weeks, not days.
Which business cashback offers don't appear on normal deal sites? Fintech sign-ups (business accounts, payment processors), ad-spend listings like Meta, and software subscriptions. They're listed on TopCashback/Quidco but rarely covered by shopping-focused blogs — which is why this page exists.
Can a limited company use cashback sites? The cashback account is personal, but the purchases can be business ones — the GoCardless, Airwallex and Meta lines in my account are all business spend. Treat received cashback as reducing the expense for your accounts.
My figures are from my own TopCashback account (screenshot shown), verified 8 September 2026; Airwallex is tracked at £0 pending uplift. Bounties rotate — GoCardless has since left TopCashback's listings. Sources: TopCashback Airwallex listing · r/beermoneyuk Airwallex threads · Student Side Income cashback guide.
