How we test

Every guide on this site is held to the same five rules. They exist so you can trust what you read without having to trust me personally.

1. Real purchases only

Verdicts come from transactions in my own accounts — 123 of them since November 2023. If a page covers something I haven't personally done, it says so in plain text rather than borrowing someone else's experience.

2. Screenshots for every claim

Earnings, payouts, boosts, declines and claim outcomes are shown from the actual account screens. Personal details are blurred; numbers never are.

3. Losses get equal billing

£98 of my cashback was genuinely never paid. Those declines are documented with the same care as the wins, because knowing how cashback fails is half of using it well.

4. Rates are dated and re-verified

Cashback rates rotate constantly, so every page carries a "last verified" date and goes through a monthly re-check pass. If you catch a stale rate before we do, tell us and it gets fixed.

5. Questions come from real searches

The FAQ on each guide answers the questions people genuinely ask Google — captured from live search results, not invented to pad the page.
