GetYourGuide is unusual among booking sites: it publishes its own discount-code page, currently offering 10% off thousands of tours and attractions on sale — Disneyland tickets, Burj Khalifa, the Louvre among them — plus a 10% student discount via Student Beans. On the cashback side, TopCashback pays 7.35% of the net booking value. The question everyone asks is whether the code and the cashback stack. The answer depends on one box on the listing. Here's how it works.
Disclosure: cashback links here are my referral links — free for you (you get a £10 bonus). I haven't booked GetYourGuide through cashback; my travel rows are Expedia (11%), Kiwi.com (3%) and Qatar Airways (5%). Rates are as listed on the day.
GetYourGuide discounts that exist
| Route | Saving | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Official discount-code page | 10% off tours/activities on sale | GetYourGuide's own page; applies to sale-flagged experiences |
| Student discount (Student Beans) | 10% | Verified students |
| Cashback | 7.35% of net value | Via TopCashback; pays after the activity |
| "40% off" headlines | Coupon-site claims | Not a GetYourGuide offer |
| GIMME10 | Generic circulating code | Not on GetYourGuide's page; unapproved → voids cashback |

Can you stack the 10% code with cashback?
Only if that code appears in the approved codes box on TopCashback's GetYourGuide listing. TopCashback's rule is explicit: unlisted or external codes usually get the cashback declined. So:
- Code listed on TopCashback: click through, apply it, get 10% + 7.35%.
- Code not listed: choose. On a £200 family booking, the 10% code saves £20 now; cashback saves about £14 later (7.35% of ~£190 net of fees). Code wins — unless the experience isn't in the sale, in which case cashback is your only lever.
- Student 10%: same logic; student codes are rarely approved on listings.
The stack
- Find your experience; check whether it's in GetYourGuide's 10% sale selection.
- Open TopCashback's GetYourGuide page: note the approved-codes box.
- Empty your cart, then click through TopCashback and rebuild the booking in that session.
- Apply the code only if it's approved. Pay by card.
- Screenshot the confirmation — with a 2.0 rating, be ready to file a missing-cashback claim. Cashback confirms after the activity date.
For the accommodation half of the trip, hotels pay far more than experiences — see my Hotels.com and Expedia rows at 8–12%.
FAQ — real questions people ask Google
How to get 10% off GetYourGuide? Use the 10% offer on GetYourGuide's own discount-code page (sale-flagged tours and attractions) or the 10% student discount via Student Beans. Cashback adds 7.35% if the code is approved on the listing — or replaces it if not.
What is the GIMME10 code? A generic 10% code that circulates for many retailers. It isn't on GetYourGuide's page; if it were accepted it would count as an unapproved code and void cashback.
Does GetYourGuide do an NHS discount? Not a dedicated one that I could find. The 10% sale code is open to everyone, and cashback applies to any customer.
Can I stack GetYourGuide discount codes? GetYourGuide applies one promo code per booking. Code plus cashback is possible only when the code is listed on TopCashback's GetYourGuide page.
Offers from getyourguide.com/discount-code and Student Beans; rate and rules from TopCashback GetYourGuide — as seen 8 September 2026; they change; verify before booking. No personal GetYourGuide receipt. Sources: GetYourGuide discount codes · TopCashback GetYourGuide.
