If you send money abroad, WorldRemit's promo codes are worth knowing — but they're worth a few pounds in fees. The play that paid me £50 on a single transfer wasn't a code at all: it was a new-customer cashback bounty through a cashback site, on top of WorldRemit's own fee-free offer. Here's every genuine WorldRemit code and offer, then the cashback route, then how to combine them without one cancelling the other.
Disclosure: cashback links here are my referral links — free for you (you get a £10 bonus). No relationship with WorldRemit.
The genuine WorldRemit codes and offers
| Offer | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| 3FORYOU | Fee-free on your first three transfers — enter it on the first, and again on the second and third | WorldRemit promotions page |
| First-transfer "0% fees" | Zero fee on your first transfer (variants by corridor) | WorldRemit / VoucherCodes |
| Refer a friend | Bonus for you and the friend (up to £25 cited) once they transfer | WorldRemit app |
| Regional codes (e.g. NOK50) | Fixed amount off first three transfers for specific corridors, with minimum sends | WorldRemit promotions |
Reality check on the coupon sites: "46% off", "50% off" headlines refer to the fee, which on a typical transfer is a couple of pounds. Useful, not life-changing. The exchange-rate margin matters more than the fee — always compare the amount received, not the advertised fee.
The bigger play: cashback bounties for new customers
Money-transfer services pay cashback sites well to acquire customers, so they've appeared with flat new-customer bounties — that's how I collected £50 on WorldRemit through TopCashback, on a transfer I was making anyway.
Two honest updates:
- TopCashback has since dropped WorldRemit from its listings. Rates and merchants rotate; this is one that rotated out.
- Quidco still lists WorldRemit — check its live rate before your first transfer. If a new-customer bounty is showing, it will almost certainly beat any code.
The stack, when a bounty is live: click through the cashback site → sign up → apply WorldRemit's own fee-free offer (3FORYOU or the first-transfer offer) → send. The bounty is cashback-site money; the fee waiver is WorldRemit's — they don't conflict, provided the code you use is one the cashback listing permits (unlisted codes can void cashback; WorldRemit's own public promotions usually are permitted, but read the listing's exclusions on the day).
Rules that keep a remittance bounty from declining
- New customer only — first-ever WorldRemit account on that email/identity.
- Minimum send — bounties usually require a minimum first transfer; check the listing.
- Same session, from the cashback site through to a completed transfer.
- Verification first — complete ID checks before the transfer window closes; bounties often confirm only after the transfer completes.
- Don't cancel the transfer.
WorldRemit vs Remitly vs Wise — which to open first?
Since each service's new-customer bounty is a one-off, sequence them: open the one with the biggest live bounty first, use its fee-free intro, then move to the next when you need to send again. Remitly currently pays up to £8 on TopCashback / £6.40 on Quidco — its codes and offers are here. For ongoing transfers, compare the received amount across all three each time; the winner changes with the corridor.
FAQ — real questions people ask Google
How do I get my promotion code? WorldRemit's public codes are on its promotions page — 3FORYOU is the current UK one for fee-free first transfers. Enter it in the promo code box before confirming the transfer, and reuse it on your second and third sends.
Is there a WorldRemit referral code available? Yes — existing customers share a referral link/code from the app; the friend gets a first-transfer bonus and the referrer a bonus (up to £25 cited) once the friend's transfer completes. Compare it against any live cashback bounty, which can be worth more.
What is a WorldRemit code? A promotional code entered at checkout that waives fees or gives a fixed amount off — 3FORYOU (fee-free first three transfers) is the current headline. It's separate from cashback, which is paid by a cashback site for signing up through its link.
My £50 figure is from my own TopCashback account; TopCashback has since removed WorldRemit — Quidco's live rate should be checked before relying on it. Codes verified on WorldRemit's promotions page and VoucherCodes on 8 September 2026 and rotate. Sources: WorldRemit promotions · VoucherCodes WorldRemit · EverySaving.
