The single biggest bounty in my three years of cashback didn't come from shopping. It came from doing something I had to do anyway — moving my mobile contract — and clicking through TopCashback first. Three paid £120, in full, for a switch that took ten minutes. Here's the receipt, what Three is paying right now, and the two things that make sure the bounty actually tracks.

Disclosure: cashback links here are affiliate/referral links — free for you, they fund the testing.
What Three is paying right now
Three's cashback is a flat bounty, not a percentage — which is what makes cheap SIM plans so lucrative:
| Deal | Cashback (TopCashback) | Cashback (Quidco) |
|---|---|---|
| Three SIM-only contracts | up to £80 | up to £82 (e.g. £47 on a 40GB £8/month 12-month plan) |
| Three mobile phone contracts | £65 | varies |
| Three Home Broadband | listed | listed |
Read that middle row again: £47 cashback on a £8-a-month SIM. Over a 12-month plan that's £96 of SIM, half of it handed back before you've used a gigabyte. My £120 in March was a boosted window above today's £80 — these bounties rotate up and down, which is why Bounty Watch exists.
Why a network switch beats a year of shopping
A 1–2% rate on everyday shopping needs £6,000–£12,000 of spend to produce £120. One switch produced it in an afternoon — on a bill I was going to pay regardless. The cashback maths of bounties is a different sport from the cashback maths of retail, which is why my earnings breakdown shows switches and sign-ups doing the heavy lifting (see how I earn without shopping).

How to make sure the £80+ tracks
- Start on the cashback site, not on Three's site. Click "Get cashback" on the specific listing that matches what you're buying (SIM-only vs phone contract are separate).
- Complete the order in the same browser session — no price-comparison detours, no app switching.
- New customer means new: bounties are for new Three accounts. If you're already on Three, an upgrade won't qualify.
- Port your number after — request your PAC from your old network once the new SIM is live; porting doesn't affect tracking.
- Expect a wait. Telecom bounties confirm slowly (mine took a while to move from pending to claimed; my payout-times guide has real ranges). Don't cancel within the first months — that voids it.
FAQ
How do I get cashback on Three? Join TopCashback or Quidco free, find the Three SIM-only or phone-contract listing, click through, and take out the plan on Three's site in that session. The bounty tracks as pending and pays after the network confirms you've stayed.
Does Three have a refer-a-friend scheme too? Yes — Three's own Refer a Friend pays existing customers up to £80 when a friend joins. It's separate from cashback-site bounties and you can't usually stack the two on the same sign-up, so pick whichever pays more for your plan.
Quidco or TopCashback for Three? Right now Quidco's SIM-only bounty tops out at £82 versus TopCashback's £80 — near identical, and they flip. Check both on the day; the plan-specific rate (e.g. £47 on the 40GB plan) matters more than the headline "up to".
My £120 is from my own TopCashback account (screenshot shown), March 2026, a boosted rate. Current rates from TopCashback and Quidco's Three listings on 8 September 2026 — they rotate, verify before switching. New to TopCashback? You get £10 too.
Join through my link and TopCashback adds a £10 bonus once you've earned £10 in cashback — on shopping you'd do anyway. Free to join; new-member terms apply, and it's how this site keeps testing.
